The Door To Your REAL LIFE Is WIDE Open !

According to my careful and intricate calculations, it's most likely where you are.

You have just entered one of those very special doors into the world of possibility. Here, optimism always reigns supreme; the options to be considered are truly endless and - above all - there is an inherent opportunity to exceed expectations and achieve success. The term "hidden treasures" doesn't apply because all of the valuable information and guidelines are right here in front of you in plain sight. The decision to take advantage of them is, however, all yours. So, welcome to this special place. Please take full advantage of everything you may learn and experience here - and share your knowledge with the world.

* Parallel Entrepreneur [pair-uh-lel ahn-truh-pruh-noor] – noun – a person who simultaneously organizes and manages multiple, similar or corresponding businesses or enterprises with personal initiative and commensurate risk

Consider this ... with the exception of speech, cave paintings, tom-toms, smoke signals, movable type, the printing press, the telegraph, phonograph, motion pictures, radio and the telephone - virtually every single invention in the area of communications that we take mostly for granted today was invented (or at least came into general usage) during the last fifty years. Computers, cell phones, the Internet, social media, digital cameras and a million other techhology innovations didn't even exist as little as twenty five years ago. Imagine what things will be like ten years from now.

What a fantastic time to be alive. Every day, the worldscape changes, shimmers, warps, expands, contracts and most all changes.

Amazing opportunities emerge daily (hourly) and continue to exist for anyone who is willing to take the risk of of believing in the possible as opposed to continuing to wallow complacently in the relative comfort zone of the way things were done yesterday.

These risk takes are often called opportunists, entrepreneurs or dreamers and they are the unique few who find joy and purpose in considering and choosing - even embracing - the path less traveled and not indicated by the signposts marked as "conventional wisdom" (whatever that heck that really means).

So ... What will you do with your tomorrow?

Will you spend today's minutes and hours the same way you spent yesterday's or will you boldly gamble a few precious ticks of the clock on something that might make a real difference to you or maybe even to someone you don't know and might never meet? I certainly hope so. Here's a point to ponder on your journey ...

What is that drawing at the top of this page?

That little sketch is one of my favorite examples of possibility thinking. It is a drawing by Leonardo da Vinci of a vertical elevation device, that's the forerunner of today's modern helicopter. What is most remarkable about this image is not that it represents da Vinci's notion that man might rise from the earth lifted by air, but the fact that da Vinci (who came from the most humble beginnings with very little education) lived over five hundred years ago (1452-1519).

It should be remembered that this was the fifteenth century - a time when none of the basics of aerodynamics and flight were understood. It was probably known that lift was essential, but that was all. In fact, it was not to be until 1783 that the first hot-air balloon was successfully launched in France and not until 1890 did the first heavier-than-air planes appear.

The point of this is that da Vinci's vision of possibility drove his mind to consider the impossible and, a half century later, his legacy rose into the sky.

What's that got to do with you?

Maybe nothing - maybe everything - certainly something. I believe that everyone has some great ideas locked away somewhere. Hopefully, with good fortune and the right circumstances, they can somehow emerge. Usually what stops the great ideas from escaping into reality is fear of failure. I say...

"FEAR NOT!"

These two words can mean two very different things...

First, they are an encouragement to not let the fear of failure stop you from trying to succeed. If you died tomorrow, what point would there have been in never trying?

Second, they are an admonishment to live in great fear of the concept of NOT (also known as can't, couldn't, shouldn't, wouldn't, don't and the concept to be feared most of all ... didn't). These are the contractions of failure and these are words and actions you should fear above all others.

Therefore, I encourage you to make the attempt, no matter how foolish others might feel you are and how much ridicule and cynicism your ideas are met with. Persevere, strive, quest, joust with the world. Light up the world with your energy.

I look forward to watching you grow ... and glow!
